8th March 2009 Paris Half Marathon.

A week before the Great North Run 2008 I crashed cycling, this has left me with broken ribs and a firm no from my doctor in participating in the race. A huge disappointment but here is what I am going to do. I hope to be able to start training again in about 6 weeks and will be running in this Paris Half Marathon instead.

Why am I running?

In 2003 I was treated successfully for Kidney cancer and I owe my life to the doctors and nurses who treated me. Every year Cancer research is making real inroads into the treatment of this disease and more and more lives are being saved through their efforts and your money.
