Hi All,

On the 20th September 2009 I am going to be running (slowly!) the 13.1 mile Bupa Great North Run in memory of my Dad Fred.  I am hoping to raise money for Cancer Research UK and would like to thank you very much for deciding to sponsor me.

Cancer Research UK is a great charity and I hope that by raising as much as I can I can make a small contribution to allow the Scientists, Doctors and Nurses continue their brilliant research work, preventing the loss of loved one's to this terrible illness.

This site is the easiest and quickest way to donate and by signing up for gift aid, the charity can claim an extra 28% on top of your donation in tax relief.

Thanks again and see you all soon.  If I don't see you before the 20th September, keep an eye out for me on TV on race day (I will be towards the back!)
