Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
I've finished my 1st Ironman triathlon (swim 3.8 km = 1 hr & 37 mins, bike 180 km 7hrs & 34 mins, run 42km = 5hrs & 15 mins) on July 25th 2010 in Zurich. It's an unusual way to celebrate my 40th  birthday year with almost 15 hours of swimming, biking & running to travel 226 km  !

I wanted to do my bit for charity too. I've chosen this charity as cancer has impacted upon the lives of my family members, work colleagues and pupils that I have taught.  Many have survived but others did not.
