My personal message:

In 2009, after completing the London marathon, I wrote the following on this very page:

"To paraphrase Steve Redgrave...'If anyone sees me near a marathon again, they have my permission to shoot me' "

Well guess what?Don't shoot me...And I'm not just doing one race, but two - Brighton in 2011 and London in 2012. Which means you get two for the price of one - my total target is £2650 and whatever you sponsor me goes towards both sponsorships.

I'll be running in aid of Cancer Research UK. They are the world's leading charity dedicated to beating cancer through research. Everyone has a connection to cancer one way or another, so their work is of vital importance is ensuring as many people as possible beat the disease.

Anything you can sponsor me is hugely appreciated. And if you can tick the Gift Aid box then even better, as George Osbourne will fork out another 25% for the charity.
