My personal message:

At some point in our lives we are all touched by cancer, either personally or by seeing a loved one, friend or family, suffer.

Sadly, my father has just lost his battle with cancer after fighting hard for 3 years.  During this time he has received the most phenomenal care for which we are extremely grateful.

To help give something back I have secured a place for this years London Marathon (26th April) and I am running for Cancer Research.  My initial aim was to raise £4000, however through everyones generosity so far this has been exceeded already.  I would therefore like to try to double it and raise £8000. 

The training is so far going well, despite the snow, ice, rain and wind.  Every little bit you are able to donate through sponsorship will help motivate me further to raise my target and finish the gruelling 26.2 miles.....

Thank you for your kind assistance and together we might just achieve the aim of beating cancer....
