My personal message:

HI everyone! This is my first run and I am going to be doing it in my home county. I don't expect my performance to be that great but I DO INTEND ON FINISHING IT. I have over nine months to train so hopefully I am going to make myself proud, earn some money for charity and prove to my loving boyfriend that his money that paid the race fee was well spent and he can be proud that I have done something in the last year as opposed to lounging around and costing him money.
