Hi All, Just an update to tell you that I completed the London Marathon 2010! My official time was 5hrs, 25mins and 33seconds, so no Paula Radcliffe record breaking but at least I finished it. I have to say that it was the toughest thing I have ever done and I really struggled between miles 17 and 21, but seeing Mum, Danni and Scott at mile 22 really spurred me on - thanks guys!! When it got tough I reminded myself that this pain was nothing compared to what those suffering from cancer have to go through. And I pushed myself on with memories of my Aunty Chris and my Grandad Don - They gave me more strength than I could ever imagine. Seeing that finish line at the end made me cry like a baby and to run over the finish felt absolutly amazing! :D And so, what next?... I'm thinkin of climbing kilimanjaro but I think I need a rest first. You can still donate if you like. I need to add some onto the final total to give my fundraising that final boost! Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Cancer Research UK gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
Even the smallest of donations would be greatly appreciated. K x
