[Monday 21st September 2009 - update:]

The Great North Run on Sunday was a fantastic day - the sun shone, which was great for me as a runner. 

Words cannot describe how grateful I am for all that have sponsored me.

Special thanks must go to my daughter Sarah who, as well as being my running partner, was my physiotherapist, counselor and Miss. Motivator!  I could not have got round without you Sarah.

Hello!

Many thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This will be my fourth Bupa Great North Run and I am running it with my daughter, son and his girlfriend.

So  far as part of my training i have completed six half marathons, Omagh, Larne, Newry, Lisburn, Ards and Cookstown  which leaves a few 10 k's for the run in.

As you can see I am running for Cancer Research. So many people are affected by this horrible disease, it is a scourge of many a family. So I will just take this opportunity to thank you again for supporting me and the fight against cancer!
