My story
This is my first marathon and I am aware of how tough this is going to be. I have already done several half marathons and it's been a dream to complete a full marathon, with New York being the obvious choice for a bit of sightseeing at the same time!
But this race is not just about me and my dreams. Cancer Research is such an important charity, helping those of us touched by this disease and providing a future for many. Having already lost many friends and family to this disease, with more and more of us suffering from its effects, I know I'm not alone in wanting to help fight this cause.
Therefore, please, whatever your motivation, whether it's just to spur me on or if it's purely to raise money for Cancer Research, please give whatever you can, and help me reach my target.
