Cancer Research UK is the world's leading independent organisation dedicated to cancer research. We support research into all aspects of cancer through the work of more than 4,250 scientists, doctors and nurses. Over the past 10 years alone, thousands of lives have been saved through earlier detection and improved treatments. But, much work remains to be done if we are to achieve our aim of beating cancer.

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

I have set a target to run Three 1/2 Marathon's in 2008 and raise a minimum of £1000 for Cancer Research. So please sponsor me now and wish me luck!

1. Edinburgh 1/2 Marathon - 16th March - Time 1:39.29
2. Redcar 1/2 Marathon - 20th April - Est Time 1:35.00 (actual time 1:39.02, I was on for a sub 1:35, ave 7min/mile but ran out of energy at mile 11)**
**Training Tip to everyone, try not to attend a Stag or Hen Do Overseas, 4 days before running a 1/2 Marathon, if you want a decent time!!! ;-)**

3. BUPA Great North Run - 5th October - Est Time Sub 1:30 (i wish!)
